great base for exploring parks and museums in madrid

Staying near a metro station made it super easy to explore the city, and just a short stroll took us to the beautiful Parque del Retiro, where we enjoyed lovely walks and views. the breakfast buffet was really good with a lot of different options.

Recommend it for a group looking for decent stay

The best thing about this place were the staff. They were really friendly and tried to help with all our requests even with the language barrier. And you know, the area wasn't too shabby, had some grocery stores and a metro station close by which made it easy to get around.

Noise carries easily throughout the hotel, especially from rooms above, which could rattle light sleepers' peace. Air conditioning struggles to cool effectively, resulting in less-than-ideal temperatures for sleeping. Missing amenities like coffee makers and a kettle felt like an oversight, especially in a place that positions itself as a four-star experience. Moreover, no iron or bottled water in the room seemed a bit basic for the price point, leading to an overall feeling of unmet expectations.
